Bowflex Home Gym Models [2018 Updated List] Which One Works Best?

When it comes home gyms, Bowflex is known for making some of the best and most affordable models around. They’ve offered a lot of different options over the years, but what kind of home gyms are they selling nowadays, and which one is going to work best for you?

Below, we’ll detail all of the Bowflex home gyms currently available, how much they cost, and anything else you need to know about them, so you can be sure to find the best home gym for you!

One of the first things you should know, though, is that Bowflex currently offers only two home gyms for sale directly on their site: The Revolution and the Xtreme.

That doesn’t mean that those are the only two Bowflex gyms available, though, so we’ll be detailing what their other options are, and where you can buy some of the other models if the Revo and Xtreme aren’t going to work for you.

The Revolution is Bowflex’s latest and best home gym on the market. It is the first of their gyms to feature their revolutionary spiral-flex technology, and it is packed full of features and workout options – you can even convert it to a rowing machine for an awesome aerobic/muscle-building routine.

Here are a few of the key Revolution specs:

  • SpiralFlex Technology: This one-of-a-kind resistance system works without inertia. It also allows for more than 100 different exercises with unlimited variations.
  • Freedom Arms: with the Bowflex Freedom Arms, you can move them independently to 10 different positions, and it even allows for 170-degree adjustments.
  • Leg Press Station: If you opt for the upgrade, your legs can get up to 600 lbs of resistance – a range of power that is totally unheard of from most home gyms.
  • Preacher Curl Attachment
  • Vertical Bench Press
  • Leg Extension
  • Dimensions: 9′ 4″ L x 3′ 2″ W x 6′ 1″ H (248 x 97 x 185 cm)

save big on the xtreme

The Xtreme is the other home gym currently available directly from Bowflex.com. It is backed by their famous PowerRod technology and probably looks a lot like other Bowflex gyms that you’re used to seeing. It’s currently their best-selling Power Rod gym, and it’s a very versatile machine.

It is a bit more compact than the Revo, so if you’re looking for something smaller or space is tight, this might be the better option.

It is also about half the price, so it’s going to be a better fit for the budget-conscious shopper too.

Here’s a quick look at some of Xtreme 2 SE’s key details:

  • Comes with 210 LBS of Resistance – Can Upgrade to 310 LBS
  • No-Change Cable Pulley System – Change from Squats to Legs without Ever Changing Cables

Other Bowflex Models…

While the Revolution and Xtreme are the two current models of Bowflex home gyms, there are a couple of others still available from places like Amazon and WalMart. While buying directly from Bowflex would be my preferred option, there’s nothing wrong with exploring some of the other options out there.

Here are some of the other models currently available:
