Bowflex Max 7 vs the Bowflex TreadClimber

Which is better, is a question we are often asked. Is it the Bowflex M7 or the Treadclimber? It might seem peculiar to pit two models of exercise equipment from one manufacturer against each other, but they both offer different types of workouts, and each one has components that may work better for you when compared to the other. We have plenty information here at FlexMaster on both of these machines, so be sure to read up on them and all of their different models if you’re trying to decide which one is best for you.

Though, for most people, one is enough. In other words, most people are only going to buy one machine. When the prices run in the thousands of dollars, it makes financial sense to only purchase one. In addition, many people also only have so much room to house gym equipment in their home.

The Bowflex Max Trainer M7, or Max 7, is the top-of-the-line product. It has all of the bells and whistles and lives up to the early adopter’s expectations in home fitness equipment. But is it so much ahead of the pack that nothing else will do?

That’s part and parcel of the side-by-side comparison with the Bowflex Treadclimber. The M7 provides a quick, power-packed punch of exercise prowess with thoroughly effective and exhilarating 14-minute-training sessions. There is a 7-minute plan that works the body as hard as the same trip for 15-minutes on a treadmill.

It works the whole body that fast while maintaining itself as a low-impact trainer, which is beneficial to the body’s joints. That’s not to say that it is easy to do the exercise. There are 20 varying resistance options and levels from which to choose. It even has 11 pre-set workout routines available too. That makes it a good long-term option for people who are particularly prone to boredom despite getting out there to exercise a good majority of days.

It even features the very convenience of a wireless heartbeat monitor. It even can store multiple exercise plans for up to four members of a home. Beyond being costly to purchase, it is expensive to hire someone to put it together.

What About The Bowflex Treadclimber?
The Bowflex Treadclimbers are able to fill the need for people who are not looking for the same workout intensity as the Max 7 trainers. All in all, the M7 is the best trainer to get because it is on the cutting edge.

While it does work you out in half the time as the Treadclimber, it is still going to deliver the workout in a low impact manner. That means that the equipment is worth the money if it is in the budget. And, that’s probably one of the main reasons that people will opt for other machines in their homes.

While it is nice to think that the Max 7 is the only piece of exercise equipment that is worthy to be in homes for use, that is not the case. The Bowflex Treadclimber continues to have the same draw and usefulness to work you out as ever.

It may pay to keep the Treadclimber until your budget allows you to upgrade into the land of the M7. That’s the only way to put it, really. Look forward to getting the maximum workout in the minimum amount of time. Ultimately though these are two very different machines, and you will just have to decide which one fits your fitness level, and the style of workout you prefer. We’ve included videos of each below, to help you visualize exactly what each one does.
